Stephen is a roofer. He works on old houses. Today he sees a roof with broken tiles. He checks his safety hat. He brings new tiles to the house. He stands on a safe work platform. Stephen takes off the old tiles. His friend helps him with the work. They put the old tiles in a big bin. Now Stephen can see the wood below. He lays a sheet to keep out rain. He puts new wood strips on the roof. Stephen starts to lay the new tiles. He works from the bottom to the top. Soon the whole roof looks new. Stephen climbs down to the ground. The owner smiles at her new roof. Stephen is proud of his good work.
