Gary the Fireman

Gary stands beside the fire engine at the station. He holds his helmet, ready for another busy day. Before leaving, he checks his protective coat. His helmet and breathing equipment are ready. Gary drives through town with his team. Blue lights flash as they hurry to a fire. One fireman uses the radio during the journey. Flames and thick smoke pour from a house. Gary aims the hose through the burning window. Another fireman helps him hold the heavy hose. Afterwards, Gary speaks to the couple outside. They thank him, relieved that they are safe. As the sun sets, Gary returns to the station. He rests his yellow helmet on the fire engine. Although tired, he is pleased to have helped.
