Keeping a Promise
Choose who you want to be.
Owen
You promised to help me move on Saturday.
Beth
I know, and I haven’t forgotten.
Owen
Are you still free in the morning?
Beth
Yes, but I need to leave by lunchtime.
Owen
We should be finished before then.
Beth
Good. I’ll bring my car as well.
Owen
Thanks. I was worried you’d changed plans.
Beth
I’d have told you if anything had changed.
Owen
Shall I have everything packed by nine?
Beth
Yes, then we can start straight away.
Owen
I really appreciate you keeping your word.
Beth
Of course. You can count on me.
