William listens while his teacher explains homework. She asks him to read a story. He must also answer questions about it. At home, he opens his English book. It tells him about a boy’s dog. He uses a pencil for his answers. William writes three sentences about his day. He went to school and played football. Before finishing, he checks each answer carefully. He reads his sentences to check them. Now his work is ready for school. He puts the paper inside his bag. Next morning, William returns to his classroom. He gives his finished homework to her. His teacher smiles because he worked hard.
