Dave works on a large ship and loves life at sea. He enjoys the fresh air and the wide blue water. Each morning, he gets up early to wash the deck. He sings a cheerful song while he works. Next, Dave checks the ropes for any damage. He coils them neatly to keep the deck safe. Then he notices two dolphins beside the ship. They jump out of the water and splash back in. Dave smiles and waves as they swim along. At noon, he sits down with a sandwich for lunch. Before he takes a bite, a bird grabs it. Dave laughs as the bird flies off with his food. Later, the sun begins to set over the sea. Dave sits quietly and rests after his busy day. He feels lucky to have a job he enjoys.
