Kevin arrives early for his first class. He opens the door and looks inside. He notices an empty chair near the front. Kevin walks across the busy classroom. He sits down and puts his bag beside him. He takes a notebook out of his bag. Kevin looks around at the other students. Some of them are talking quietly together. A friendly woman sits next to Kevin. Kevin introduces himself to the woman. She smiles and tells him her name is Anna. They talk quietly about their new course. The teacher enters carrying several books. She walks forward and writes on the board. Then she closes the classroom door. The students stop talking and face her. The room becomes quiet as everyone listens. Kevin feels nervous, but he is ready.
