Marjorie Knits Teddy Bears

Marjorie chooses some brown wool from her basket. It is soft enough to make a cuddly bear. She has everything she needs beside her. She begins by knitting the body and legs. The shape grows as her needles move. Next, Marjorie works on the bear’s head. She makes two ears to go on top. Each part must be ready before she sews. She carefully joins the knitted pieces together. The eyes and nose give the bear a face. A little smile makes it look friendly. Marjorie ties a blue ribbon around its neck. She adjusts the bow until it looks right. Now she has finished making her teddy bear. She holds it up, pleased with her work.
